With a clear architectural vision, Zeller & Moye have transformed an unassuming 1950s building into a contemporary residential ensemble with a distinct character.
The concept bridges two seemingly opposing ideas: the democratic principles of post-war modernism—open, structured, and designed for many—and the traditional character of Dahlem, shaped by generous villas, gardens, and a cultivated residential culture.
Sustainability is an integral part of the project. By preserving and reinterpreting the existing structure and integrating a modern energy concept with heat pump and photovoltaic system, the ecological footprint is significantly reduced, enabling resource-efficient living.
The result is a residential ensemble that respects its origins while looking toward the future.
